What you’ll achieve As a Senior Software Engineer - SDET, you will collaborate with world-class talent to qualify advanced capabilities in the data mobility area of our next-generation storage product. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment and build deep domain expertise. You will: Drive the qualification of advanced data mobility capabilities for next-generation storage solutions while developing domain expertise Collaborate closely with developers to design and execute test plans, report defects, automate test cases, and perform various end-to-end testing at the capability level Actively participate in agile ceremonies, contribute to team commitments, and take leadership roles when needed Deliver high-quality defect reports and comprehensive test result documentation Stay up to date with AI trends, tools, and best practices to identify opportunities for improving testing efficiency and automation Take the First Step Towards Your Dream Career Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Master’s preferred) with 5–8 years of experience in testing, test automation, and technical leadership Proven ability to qualify features in complex, distributed systems. Strong expertise in Python scripting across multiple operating systems (Linux, Windows) Understanding of AI/ML concepts and hands-on experience leveraging AI tools or frameworks to enhance developer experience, automate workflows, and drive innovation Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Desirable Requirements Experience qualifying products and solutions in the storage domain Proficiency in one or more major programming languages (C++, Java) and experience developing REST API-based interfaces Compensation: Dell is committed to Fair and Equitable compensation practices.
