Zabbix-GLPI-Wazuh Senior Engineer

Athena Cloud Limited is in search of a skilled Zabbix-GLPI-Wazuh Senior Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a leader in providing Sovereign Cloud, Sovereign AI, and Sovereign Data solutions, we are committed to delivering exceptional services that ensure our clients' digital assets are secure and efficiently managed. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining our monitoring, asset management, and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions utilizing Zabbix, GLPI, and Wazuh.

Your expertise in these powerful tools will be essential in optimizing our systems' performance and enhancing security posture while also ensuring an integrated workflow between monitoring, asset management, and incident response systems. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will drive initiatives that maximize system uptime and responsiveness, providing vital insights that empower our operational effectiveness.

As the Zabbix-GLPI-Wazuh Senior Engineer, you will also mentor junior engineers, ensuring they develop their skills in managing these critical systems. Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and optimize Zabbix for system monitoring and alerting.
• Deploy and manage GLPI for asset management and IT service management.
• Implement and maintain Wazuh for security monitoring and incident response.
• Analyze system performance and security logs to identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Automate deployment processes for Zabbix, GLPI, and Wazuh using scripts and configuration management tools.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to integrate monitoring and management solutions into existing processes.
• Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to junior engineers and other technical staff.
• Stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in system monitoring, asset management, and security.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications in Zabbix, GLPI, or Wazuh are a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or administration focusing on monitoring and security solutions.
• Proficient in the setup, configuration, and management of Zabbix, GLPI, and Wazuh.
• Strong understanding of system monitoring, asset management processes, and security information and event management.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and integration tasks.
• Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) concepts and tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on collaboration in a cross-functional team environment.
• Passionate about technology, security, and continuous improvement, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
