Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated Working Student Junior IT System Administrator to support our IT & IT Security team. You will work closely with experienced system administrators and security specialists, gaining hands-on experience across modern workplace IT, endpoint management, automation, and IT security operations.

This role is ideal for students who want practical exposure to real-world IT infrastructure and security processes in a growing company.

Your Impact:

• Support onboarding/offboarding (accounts, groups, permissions, hardware setup, access provisioning)

• Manage IT assets and stock (procurement support, inventory/lifecycle tracking, handover, updates, replacements), enroll and manage endpoints via MDM across iOS, macOS, Windows, and Android, maintaining office network infrastructure, and meeting room AV/videoconferencing setups

• Manage IT accounts and identity across platforms (JumpCloud, ManageEngine Endpoint Central, Freshservice and others)

• Provide on-site and remote support; resolve tickets/incidents and troubleshoot hardware, software, and access issues

• Participate in IT security audits and infrastructure projects; maintain and standardize IT documentation (how-tos, SOPs, runbooks)

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have:

• Abitur, Technical Ausbildung, Fresh Graduates or Enrolled student in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or a related field

• Strong interest in IT systems, endpoint management, and IT security

• Structured, reliable, and hands-on working style

• Solid understanding of Windows and/or macOS basics (users, permissions, troubleshooting)

• Basic knowledge of: Networking fundamentals & IT service management concepts

• First experience with MDM, IAM, ticketing systems (Jira Service Management, Freshservice) is a plus

• Interest in automation, scripting, APIs, or SSO (basic level is sufficient)

Good communication skills and a service-oriented mindsetFluent in English (German is a plus but not mandatory)

Location: Munich, Contract Period : 6 Months
Working time: Part-time (approx. 20 hours/week, half-day model – 5 half-days or 2.5 days)
