At IONOS, we’re building a modern, AI-augmented sales operation - and we’re looking for a hands-on AI Sales Operations Specialist to help bring that vision to life. In this role, you'll partner closely with the Commercial Operations Lead to prototype and implement intelligent, AI-driven systems that improve how our sales team works. You’ll help automate repetitive workflows, build smart internal tools, and experiment with cutting-edge platforms like GPT, Make, Zapier, and LangChain. Your job is to turn friction into flow. You don’t need to be a data scientist - but you should be curious, resourceful, and unafraid to get your hands dirty with real tools. Responsibilities

• Prototype Intelligent Workflows: Design and build AI-powered automations that eliminate manual tasks - from lead enrichment and email drafting to meeting prep and reporting.

• Explore and Experiment: Use tools like GPT, Zapier, Make, LangChain, and AirOps. to build internal copilots, agents, and micro-tools for the sales team.

• Collaborate with Ops: Work side-by-side with the Commercial Operations Lead to align prototypes with business needs and roll them out in production.

• Enable the Team: Translate AI tools into intuitive workflows for non-technical users. Build light documentation and provide training when needed.

• Stay Ahead of the Curve: Research emerging AI platforms and evaluate their potential to enhance sales efficiency.

Qualifications

• A strong interest in AI, automation, and the future of work.

• Hands-on experience with no-code / low-code tools (Zapier, Make, Notion AI, Airtable, etc.).

• Familiarity with GPT-based platforms and prompt engineering basics.

• A builder mindset — you like testing, iterating, and creating usable systems.

• Clear communication skills and an ability to explain technical tools to non-technical users.

• Bonus: exposure to sales workflows or CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce).
