About the role: 

Join our Data & AI Governance team and gain hands-on experience in shaping how data is governed across a fast-growing, data-driven organization. This role offers you the chance to contribute to a large-scale governance initiative while building a deeper understanding of how data engineering and business processes come together in practice. 

About your tasks: 

• Support the enrichment of our data catalog by applying Redcare’s governance procedures to new data sources 

• Review and classify data into key categories, helping to ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal policies 

• Spot and escalate corner cases, actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our governance processes 

• Collaborate on automation initiatives to enrich and sense-check our data catalog 

About you: 

• You are currently enrolled in a degree program related to Data, IT, Translation Studies, Business, or a similar field 

• You bring analytical thinking and enjoy working with structured data 

• You are comfortable using Excel and communicate confidently in English 

• You feel confident working in a team distributed across Berlin and Cologne and appreciate the balance of independence and collaboration 

• Nice to have: experience with Databricks, Purview, other data catalogs, Jira, or workflow automation tools – but don’t worry, you’ll receive training from the team.
