Position Summary

As a Working Student in Business Operations (AI Automation), you will help us automate repetitive operational processes and implement state-of-the-art AI tooling across Legal, Security, and HR.

Team: This role sits in Business Operations and acts as a bridge between technical capabilities and operational needs. You are not building the core Mindpeak product – you are building the internal engine that enables Mindpeak to scale efficiently and responsibly. You will work closely with Legal, HR, Security, and Leadership and have real ownership over impactful automation initiatives.

Your mission is to help transform Mindpeak’s Business Operations into an AI-first department by building agents and workflows that eliminate manual “paperwork” and enable teams to focus on high-value, strategic work.

You’ll work on:

• Build & Automate: Design, build, and iterate on AI agents and automated workflows for Legal, Security, and HR use cases.

• Sustainable Operations: Take ownership of the full lifecycle of your automations—this includes monitoring performance, ensuring technical stability, and maintaining high output quality over time.

• Data Management: Clean, structure, and prepare operational data (documents, CSVs, JSONs, databases).

• Integration: Connect internal tools (ERP, HR systems, knowledge bases) with AI models via APIs and modern tooling.

• Quality Assurance: Test and validate AI outputs rigorously, ensuring reliability in regulatory and legal contexts.

• Communication: Translate business requirements into technical solutions and explain results to non-technical stakeholders.

Your Profile

Required

• Education: Enrolled student (Bachelor year 3+ or Master) in Business Informatics (Wirtschaftsinformatik), Computer Science (Informatik), or a related technical field.

• Academic Record: Excellent academic performance.

• Languages: English at C1 level (mandatory) – our working language.

• Mindset: A strong interest in applied AI and a "builder" mentality.

• Availability: 15–20 hours per week, based in Hamburg (mandatory).

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in startups or fast-growing environments.

• Exposure to LegalTech, HRTech, or Security-related processes.

• Basic understanding of SaaS business models.

• German language skills.

Technical Skills

• AI Tooling: Prompt Engineering and agent-based systems (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI, or similar).

• System Integration: Experience with Make.com, Zapier, or custom Python scripts to connect systems and APIs.

• Data Engineering: Data cleaning, CSV/JSON manipulation, and database basics (SQL or NoSQL).
