About the Role:

We are looking for a talented and experienced System Engineer to join our core IT team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our Windows environment, ensuring its health, driving modernization, and collaborating on exciting new projects that shape our technological landscape. 

What Your Mission Will Be: 

As a System Engineer, you will be a key expert responsible for the stability and evolution of our server infrastructure. Your daily challenges will include: 

• Guardian of the Infrastructure: You will administer, maintain, and secure our entire Windows Server environment, ensuring maximum uptime and performance. 
• Proactive Problem-Solver: Monitor system health, proactively identify potential issues, and use your troubleshooting skills to resolve complex challenges before they impact the business. 
• Architect of a Modern Workplace: Collaborate closely with other IT teams to design, implement, and integrate new technologies and solutions that drive our company forward. 
• Automation Champion: Leverage your scripting skills, especially with PowerShell, to automate repetitive tasks, streamline processes, and improve efficiency. 
• Master of Knowledge: Develop and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for our server infrastructure, processes, and configurations, building a valuable knowledge base for the entire team. 
• Security & Compliance Expert: Play a vital role in our security posture by supporting internal/external audits, ensuring our systems meet certification standards, and staying ahead of the latest security threats. 
• Project Contributor: Actively participate in IT projects, bringing your technical expertise to the table to ensure successful delivery and integration. 

What You Bring to the Table: 

We're looking for a combination of technical expertise, proven experience, and a collaborative spirit. 

Core Qualifications: 

• A degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. 
• Proven experience as a Windows Server System Engineer, with a deep understanding of the ecosystem. 
• Expert-level knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and File Services. 
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). 
• Solid proficiency in scripting with PowerShell for automation and administration. 
• Strong understanding of network protocols and modern security principles. 
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and independently. 
• Very good command of English is essential; German language skills are a valuable plus. 

Bonus Points If You Have Experience With: 

• Cloud technologies like Azure or AWS. 
• Automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef). 
• Enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions.
