I started Water Restoration Marketing with one clear goal: to make it ridiculously simple for water restoration business owners to get consistent, high-quality calls from people who actually need their services. For over six years, we’ve worked exclusively with restoration companies, combining paid ads and Google Maps optimization to generate more than 250,000 real-time calls for over 200 businesses across the U.S.

Today, we’re a globally distributed team across the U.S., Philippines, South Africa, India, and Pakistan. What makes us different is how we think about scale - we’re building an AI-forward agency that grows through automation and smarter systems, not endless headcount. We’re looking for an Automation / Mar-tech Specialist.

You’re someone who can’t stand inefficient processes and gets genuinely excited about replacing manual work with clean, reliable automations. This role exists to remove bottlenecks, speed up execution, and help our team focus on higher-value strategic and creative work as we scale through automation.

In this role, you will:

⚙️ Build and maintain automations using Zapier, n8n, and APIs
🔁 Execute and improve workflows designed by leadership
🧩 Create custom integrations and scripts where native tools fall short
🛠 Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve existing automation workflows
📝 Document automation processes and ensure long-term system reliability

This is a full-time, non-customer-facing role with flexible hours, requiring 3–4 hours of overlap with US Eastern Time (ideally between 6am–2pm ET).

This role will report to Jeff Duldulao, Co-Founder & COO.

Jeff is a hands-on operator and automation-first leader with 20+ years of experience in technology, systems architecture, and process optimization. He has built and scaled multiple businesses across digital marketing, home services, retail, and franchising, with a strong focus on using automation to eliminate manual work and improve operational efficiency.

Fun fact: Jeff is known for getting overly excited when a new automation successfully replaces a manual process - especially if it saves hours of work!

Requirements:
Must-haves:

✅ Proven experience with automation tools like Zapier and/or n8n
✅ Experience working with APIs and building integrations
✅ Experience in a marketing agency or MarTech environment (e.g. conversion tracking, UTM tags)
✅ Hands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude

Brownie points:

⭐ Scripting experience (Python, JavaScript, or similar)
⭐ Strong API architecture knowledge for custom integrations
⭐ Portfolio or GitHub showcasing automation or scripting projects

You’re a self-starter with a sharp eye for detail who can also see the bigger picture. You take ownership, move fast without waiting for perfect instructions, and naturally look for better, smarter ways to do things. You care deeply about quality, follow through on what you start, and enjoy learning, experimenting, and improving over time.
