PRIORITY Quality Consultants is seeking a highly skilled Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT) Freelancer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring our clients' security posture and identifying vulnerabilities within their systems.
Position Overview:
The VAPT Freelancer will conduct thorough assessments of client infrastructures to identify security weaknesses, recommend remediations, and help strengthen their overall security framework. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, particularly in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on client networks, applications, and systems.
• Identify security vulnerabilities during manual testing and automated scanning.
• Provide detailed reporting of findings, including risk levels and recommendations for remediation.
• Collaborate with client teams to address identified vulnerabilities and track remediation efforts.
• Stay current with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and testing methodologies.
• Deliver presentations and reports to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
• Proven experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (at least 2 years).
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• In-depth knowledge of penetration testing tools and methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think like an attacker.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or similar are highly appreciated.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Familiarity with compliance standards and frameworks (e.g., OWASP, NIST).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
