Position Summary

We are seeking a high-performing Vice President, Strategic Accounts to lead and expand SingleStore’s footprint across a portfolio of named, high-value enterprise customers. This executive role is responsible for driving long-term platform adoption, expansion revenue, and strategic partnerships within complex, multi-stakeholder accounts.

As a senior sales leader, you will own multi-year account strategies, build trusted relationships with C-level executives, and orchestrate enterprise-wide transformations that position SingleStore as a core component of customers’ data and AI infrastructure. You will lead and develop a team of Strategic Account Executives and partner closely with Sales Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver sustained business outcomes.

This role is ideal for a commercially sharp, outcome-driven leader with deep experience selling complex data or infrastructure platforms into large enterprises.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and grow a portfolio of named strategic enterprise accounts, with accountability for expansion, retention, and long-term revenue growth.

• Develop and execute multi-year strategic account plans aligned to customer business priorities, data modernization initiatives, and AI adoption goals.

• Build and maintain strong executive relationships across C-suite, IT, data, and business leadership, acting as a trusted advisor and partner.

• Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing team of Strategic Account Executives focused on complex, high-value enterprise sales cycles.

• Orchestrate large, cross-functional deal motions across new logos and expansions, partnering with Sales Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and executive sponsors.

• Drive predictable growth through disciplined pipeline management, forecast accuracy, and value-based selling practices.

• Collaborate closely with Product and Marketing to align customer feedback, use-case prioritization, and go-to-market strategy.

• Represent SingleStore’s platform vision in executive briefings, strategic customer meetings, and industry forums.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of enterprise software sales experience, including 8–10+ years in senior leadership roles (Director, RVP, VP, or equivalent).

• Proven track record of building and expanding strategic enterprise accounts in high-growth SaaS, database, or infrastructure companies.

• Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with ACVs ranging from $500K to $5M+.

• Strong understanding of modern data infrastructure, including databases, analytics platforms, cloud ecosystems, and AI/ML-driven use cases.

• Experience hiring, developing, and leading top-performing enterprise sales teams.

• Mastery of enterprise account planning, executive influence, and value-based sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger, or similar).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling modern data platforms (e.g., SingleStore, Snowflake, Databricks, MongoDB, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar).

• Prior success selling into large, complex industries such as Financial Services, Telecommunications, Retail, or Manufacturing.

• Experience with hybrid go-to-market models, including cloud and on-prem or hybrid deployments.

• Deep understanding of enterprise procurement cycles, security and compliance requirements, and long-term platform adoption dynamics.

Salary is based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location, and is just one part of our total compensation and benefits package. Certain roles are also eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases and annual bonuses.

SingleStore’s On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for this role is $330,000–$400,000, with a 50/50 base and variable compensation structure. Base salary and variable components are determined based on experience, scope, and performance.
