Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong
background in software development and IT operations. This role requires a blend of technical
expertise in DevOps practices and a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Automation & Orchestration: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the building, testing, and deployment of applications.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Monitoring and Optimization: Implement monitoring solutions to optimize system performance and availability, ensuring systems are operating effectively and securely.
• Security & Compliance: Integrate security best practices (DevSecOps) into the pipeline, managing secrets, certificates, and access controls.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and configuration changes.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry best practices, tools, and technologies, and continuously improve DevOps and security processes.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience:
• 2+ years of experience in a DevOps, site reliability engineering (SRE), or related role.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Strong background in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Cybersecurity Knowledge: Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and tools (firewalls, intrusion detection systems, vulnerability scanners).
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
