Vietnamese Transcriptionist

An Enterprise client is seeking a Vietnamese Transcriptionist to support the development of talk-to-text technology. In this role, you will listen to audio files from an online database and accurately transcribe spoken content according to client-specific guidelines, including segment labeling. You may also be asked to perform data validation tasks as needed, such as verifying audio language and quality. Work assignments are project-based and dependent on client demand.

• You will accurately transcribe a variety of files in accordance with client-specific guidelines.
• You will maintain a thorough understanding of each client’s guidelines, updating your knowledge as changes occur
• You will produce high-quality, timely work for all assigned transcription projects
• You will reference and apply current training materials and documentation as needed
• You will identify and report technical issues or transcription concerns to the team manager
• You will contribute ideas for improving workflows and transcription processes
• You will participate in additional tasks or special projects as assigned

• Native-level (C2) proficiency in Vietnamese, including strong reading and writing skills
• Excellent Vietnamese grammar, spelling, and punctuation
• Experience in transcription, audio review, or language-related work preferred
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver high-quality, accurate work
• Ability to follow detailed guidelines and adapt to updates or changes
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
• Basic technical proficiency, including use of computers and online platforms
• Access to a personal computer, email, and high-speed internet
• Willingness to complete required language and project assessments

Compensation

• Transcription: USD 1.50 per audio minute transcribed
• Data Validation: USD 0.15 per utterance

Please note: Work is not guaranteed and will be assigned based on project needs.

Career Growth

Transcribers who consistently achieve high-quality performance scores may be eligible for Reviewer roles as the project progresses.

Compensation & Schedule

Workload varies depending on project demand, and tasks differ in length. Compensation is based on completed audio minutes. High-performing contributors may be invited to participate in additional project phases, including the Review stage.

Additional Tasks (As Needed)

You may be asked to perform data validation tasks, which include:

• Verifying that the audio language matches the client’s request
• Confirming that the audio quality is clear enough to be transcribed

These tasks are assigned only when required for specific projects.
