The Trade Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of commercial and financial operations across the Spanish market. This position manages critical processes such as pricing adjustments, wholesaler settlements, and pharmacy transfer agreements, ensuring proper validation and reconciliation of financial data.
The role is responsible for calculating and monitoring revenue recognition, rebates, and expenditure caps in alignment with regulatory requirements and agreements with health authorities. It also ensures the timely preparation and validation of official reports submitted to external stakeholders, including the Ministry of Health.
In close collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners, the Trade Analyst supports commercial operations by maintaining key tools and enabling compliant offer creation for hospitals and customers. The position also delivers strategic insights through detailed reporting and analysis, supporting decision-making across business units.
Additionally, the Trade Analyst contributes to audit readiness and compliance by ensuring adherence to internal policies, SOPs, and financial regulations. The role plays an active part in optimizing trade operations, including quota management and parallel trade analysis, ultimately supporting the achievement of business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage pricing processes and wholesaler settlements, ensuring accurate reconciliation and compliance
• Validate and process pharmacy Transfer agreements and financial transactions
• Calculate and monitor Revenue Recognition, rebates, and expenditure CAPs
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports (e.g., SEGUIMED, Ministry of Health)
• Support commercial teams by maintaining offer tools aligned with pricing policies
• Produce regular analytical reports (daily, monthly, period close) to support business decisions
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, SOPs, and financial regulations (SOX, US GAAP)
• Support audits and provide documentation to internal and external auditors
• Contribute to quota management, parallel trade analysis, and strategic trade initiatives
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, or related field
• 1+ year of pharmaceutical industry experience
• Track record of working crossfunctionally
• Knowledge of local regulatory policies and internal compliance rules
• Knowledge of SAP BOBj
• Advanced English (oral and written)
