Job Description

We are looking for a Test Engineer based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates location to work with a Global Consulting company. You will be working on a large-scale project.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

• At Least 2 to 4 years of experience in the software industry, with a proven track record in testing VoIP products and/or telephony solutions.
• Execute testing strategies, process improvements, automation uplift and standards for deliverables
• Ensure that the relevant levels and types of testing are executed and planned into the delivery lifecycle
• Challenge the development team to ensure a high level of quality and test coverage at the appropriate levels
• Support the creation, maintenance, and reuse of test artefacts (e.g., test cases, plans, scripts, documentation, etc.)
• Work with the team to deliver both automated and manual tests to meet delivery milestones
• Raise, report and track risks and defects in accordance with Suncorp Agile principles
• Implement automation of infrastructure setup, testing activities, releases, deployments and reporting

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3+ years appropriate industry experience in a Software Test Engineer role
• Experience in mobile automation tools such as Appium and AWS Device Farms would be an added advantage
• Understanding of the role that automation plays in Agile delivery including when and how to implement it
• Demonstrated experience in executing test strategies for large programs of work
• Experience in programming/scripting (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.)
• Understanding of how to test in an Agile environment
• Knowledge of all levels and types of testing (e.g., functional, system, integration, regression, performance, security, accessibility, compatibility, maintainability, etc.)
