Job Purpose
Drive the growth of Evident business across Africa by developing market opportunities, strengthening distributor performance, and engaging directly with key customers and stakeholders.
The role acts as the key technical interface between distributors, customers, and internal teams to ensure effective market and project pipeline development, conversion, and execution.
 
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and develop growth opportunities across key industries including oil & gas, petrochemicals, power generation, aviation, and manufacturing.
• Execute market development plans in alignment with regional strategy.
• Strengthen distributor performance through technical support, joint engagement, and sales development.
• Generate, qualify, and drive opportunities to closure in collaboration with distributors.
• Engage with end-users, EPCs, and inspection service providers to promote solutions and influence specifications.
• Support preparation of technical proposals and commercial offers aligned with customer needs.
• Deliver product demonstrations, application support, and technical evaluations.
• Conduct training, workshops, and seminars for distributors and customers.
• Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting through CRM tools.
 
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline
• Experience in NDT (Non Destructive Testing) sales or industrial inspection technologies
• Knowledge of NDT methods (UT, PAUT, Eddy Current, RVI)
• Experience with oil & gas operators, inspection service providers, or industrial asset owners preferred
• Proven technical sales and business development capability
• Communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently in a regional, distributor-driven environment
• Extensive travel requirement (>50%) across Africa, with travel to the Middle East office
Language Requirements:
• Fluent in English
• Arabic is highly desirable
• French is an advantage for North Africa markets
