Position Summary
Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) is one of the key verticals within Financial Content Operations which caters to clients engaged in equity research. ESG provides integrated financial and extra-financial information, which is essential for understanding the long-term performance and risk profile of major corporations. Our comprehensive ESG database covers nearly 80% of the market cap and over 500 metrics, including all exclusion (ethical screening) criteria and all aspects of sustainability performance.
The data are gathered from publicly available information sources and is manually collected to ensure that the information is standardized, comparable and reliable. All the ESG data collected is quality controlled and verified in a rigorous process by our experienced analysts and robust automated checks.
Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
• Take complete responsibility for data quality, accuracy, timeliness and completeness of the team.
• Drive customer focus, ensure highest levels of Service and Quality that meets/exceeds customer and team members' expectations
• Develop and maintain solid understanding of ESG processes.
• Strategize and set direction to improve quality and drive automation/simplification within ESG Operations
• Establish & maintain metrics to supervise & improve performance & quality on a regular basis.
• Handle performance & people challenges, if any, to build a high-performance
• Reward dedication, take care of poor performance.
• Conduct regular1:1s with the team members to discuss performance issues and to support development requirements.
• Work with content specialists to Investigate & establish new Policies that could provide efficiency gains or quality improvement.
• Plan & assess resource requirement within the team backed by clearly defined metrics/statistics.
• Ensure all SLAs are met with accuracy. Ensure internal/external team members are updated of the progress
• Plan work allocation for the process & analysts. Prioritize tasks & projects
• Responsible for training & on boarding of new employees
Education:
• Graduate's or equivalent experience in finance or equivalent.
Required Skills:
• Must have displayed ability to drive & execute a task/projects independently or with minimal supervision.
• Ability to challenge current methodologies & be a change motivator, to identify and bring in operational efficiencies
• Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work well under pressure, independently, as well as within a team
• Strong critical thinking, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Proven analytic and problem solving skills, innovation and initiative.
• Proven track record in the previous role/s
This role is on blended work model, with 3 days working on the office and 2 days working remotely. Standard working hours is Monday - Friday, 9AM - 6PM.
