Tax Associate

The opportunity
Join the Greater China tax team supporting direct and indirect tax compliance, tax provision, advisory matters, and tax authority queries. In the short term, success will be measured by delivering on-time and accurate filings, maintaining clean reconciliations, ensuring strong documentation, and driving quick process improvements. Over the longer term, you will help streamline China tax processes, reduce audit and controversy risk, optimize incentives, and provide trusted tax guidance to stakeholders. Your impact will elevate accuracy, efficiency, and risk control while improving data quality and cross-functional alignment. This role offers valuable regional exposure, mentorship, ownership of key projects, continuous skill development, and a clear path for career advancement.

What you'll be doing

• Own end-to-end China VAT/CIT compliance and filings with precise GL/fapiao reconciliations.

• Prepare quarterly/annual tax provisions and reports; ensure clean data across ERP/tax systems.

• Lead responses to tax authority queries/controversies; coordinate inputs with regional/local teams.

• Provide actionable tax advisory on transactions, incentives, and cross-border flows.

• Drive efficiency and automation across china tax processes; standardize workflows and support global initiatives.
