Responsibilities

• Solving problems by providing level one and level two support while managing a rich suite of trading applications

• Proposing and executing automation efforts to keep the operational burden low and to enhance reliability

• Monitoring daily reports and run of scheduled jobs

• Monitoring and reporting on the status and health of our systems

• Serving as the primary technical contact for the whole trading team, engaging in direct communication with traders and developers

• Participating in on-call rotation and occasional weekend shifts

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or a related field

• At least three years of relevant experience

• Strong scripting skills in Python, and Bash

• Thorough understanding of Linux fundamentals and basic knowledge of OS concepts

• Experience with configuration management, source control, automated deployment

• Knowledge of SQL and use of databases
