Role

We are looking for a Staff Software Development Engineer in Test to join our Engineering team. This is a hybrid role based in Bangalore or Mohali, reporting to the Director, Software Engineering. You will lead quality strategy and execution for a large-scale, cloud-native, multi-tenant platform. You will bring your vision and passion to a team of experts enabling organizations worldwide to harness speed and agility with a cloud-first strategy through our multitenant architecture.

What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

•
Own end-to-end System Integration Testing (SIT) and quality outcomes for key platform areas including UI, APIs, services, and data workflows

•
Design and deliver effective, automatable test plans with strong coverage for functional, regression, and system integration scenarios

•
Build and maintain UI and API automation using modern frameworks to ensure stability, maintainability, and fast feedback

•
Validate large-scale systems including REST APIs, backend services, distributed workflows, and microservices

•
Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, enabling release gating, quality metrics, and faster deployments

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

•
Advanced proficiency in automation testing using Python (pytest/unittest), JavaScript, or TypeScript

•
Hands-on experience with UI automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright for end-to-end validation

•
Deep experience testing distributed systems, microservices, and scalable cloud-native multi-tenant architectures in AWS, GCP, or Azure environments

•
Solid understanding of CI/CD integration, Linux troubleshooting, and containerized environments including Docker and Kubernetes

•
Technical knowledge of L2/L3 networking concepts, including routing protocols, VPN, IPSec, and WAN architecture

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

•
Proven experience designing scalable test frameworks covering architecture, patterns, reporting, stability, and parallelization

•
Proficiency with Git, test management tools like TestRail, and issue tracking systems such as Jira

•
Hands-on experience with AI agent prompting and usage for productivity, test design, and automation support
