As a Staff Backend Engineer specializing in Golang, you will serve as a key technical leader, driving the design, scalability, and reliability of our backend platforms. Leveraging over a decade of engineering experience and deep expertise in cloud-native architectures, you will influence product strategy, set technical direction, and mentor engineers—all while remaining hands-on with complex backend challenges.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design scalable, resilient, high-performance backend systems using AWS cloud-native services.

• Develop and deploy production-grade Golang solutions that are efficient, secure, and maintainable.

• Lead technical initiatives through mentorship, code reviews, and strong engineering best practices.

• Design and implement APIs and microservices, including RESTful and event-driven architectures.

• Improve system reliability through observability, monitoring, and incident-response frameworks.

• Solve complex challenges in performance, scalability, and distributed systems.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years of hands-on Golang development.

• Strong expertise in AWS and architecting large-scale, distributed systems using services like ECS/EKS, Lambda, DynamoDB, and RDS.

• Deep experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and modern containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Proven technical leadership through mentoring, guiding teams, and driving large-scale initiatives.

• Solid focus on reliability, observability, secure coding practices, and CI/CD/DevOps workflows.
