PlexTrac is seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer to serve as a technical powerhouse for our infrastructure. This is a high-impact, hands-on engineering role focused on developer enablement. You will architect and implement the internal platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments that allow our products to scale securely. 

While you will contribute to strategic decisions, your primary focus is execution and reliability. 

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Develop and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions that support our cybersecurity products and services utilizing cloud technologies

Automation and CI/CD Pipelines: Implement and enhance automated build, test, and deployment processes.

Drive continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices to improve development efficiency and product reliability

Security and Compliance: Collaborate with security teams to ensure best practices and security measures are implemented throughout the development and deployment process. Monitor and address security vulnerabilities and potential threats proactively

Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Establish and maintain monitoring systems to track the performance, availability, and health of our applications and infrastructure. Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations to ensure optimal system performance

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve complex issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and software configurations. Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures

Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, security, and operations, to foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Communicate effectively to convey technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to system configurations, processes, and best practices. Contribute to knowledge sharing within the team and across the organization

Qualifications

India-based

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience (minimum of 8 years)

Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and technologies in a fast-paced environment

Functional knowledge of cloud computing concepts, experience with Google Cloud is a plus

Scripting and programming: Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages. Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Go, or Ruby is advantageous

Monitoring and Logging: Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar solution

Containerized environments: Docker, Podman, Kubernetes or similar

Linux operating systems: Debian and RHEL based distros primarily
