Sr. Automation QA Engineer

Basic Functions:
• Develop and maintain automated test cases and test plans for SaaS products, focusing 50% on
• automation and 50% on manual testing.
• Identify, document, and manage defects and inconsistencies in SaaS products.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects.
• Assist Lead QA on the development and maintenance of Playwright-based automation scripts and
• tools for testing SaaS products.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including customer support, to reproduce and troubleshoot
• customer-reported issues.
• Monitor and report on the quality of SaaS products, providing insights and recommendations for
• improvement.
• Contribute to the enhancement of QA processes and methodologies within the organization.
• Proactively identify potential quality issues and develop strategies to address them.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organization's products and their functionalities to
• improve quality assurance practices.
• Perform thorough testing of new features and functionalities to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Participate in the development of quality metrics and reporting to track the overall quality of the organization's products.

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:
• 5+ years of QA testing experience with a strong emphasis on automation.
• Proficiency in Playwright is highly preferred.
• Experience with backend test automation and data validation is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in SQL for database queries and Postman for API testing is required.
• Experience with scripting languages like TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify and document defects.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to work independently as a contractor and manage time efficiently.
