Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in banking and financial services, extensive exposure to the Gulf region, and deep expertise in enterprise architecture, integration, cloud, and middleware technologies.

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in translating complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance technology solutions, while working closely with business and technical stakeholders across large enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and lead end-to-end solution architecture for large-scale banking and financial systems
• Define high-level and detailed architecture models covering application, integration, data, and infrastructure layers
• Lead architecture decisions for core banking, payments, digital channels, APIs, and integration platforms
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, security, scalability, and performance requirements
• Drive and govern API-led and microservices-based architectures
• Oversee solution delivery across the full SDLC, ensuring quality, timelines, and architectural compliance
• Support and guide development, DevOps, and operations teams during implementation
• Participate in architecture reviews, technical governance, and stakeholder presentations
• Work within Agile / SAFe environments, supporting multiple squads and cross-functional teams

Requirements:
Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 15+ years of experience in solution architecture and enterprise systems design
• Strong banking domain experience (core banking, payments, digital banking, financial platforms)
• Proven experience working in the Gulf region (KSA / GCC)
• Deep expertise in:
• Enterprise Integration & Middleware
• API Management & API Security
• Microservices Architecture
• Cloud Platforms (AWS / Azure)
• Containerization & Kubernetes

• Strong understanding of enterprise-level distributed systems
• Experience working with multi-tier, high-availability, and mission-critical systems
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Certifications (Mandatory / Strongly Preferred)

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
• TOGAF 9.2 Certified (Foundation or above)
• Kubernetes / Cloud Native Certification (CNCF)
• DevOps Architecture Certification
• API Design & API Security Certifications
• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AI or Cloud)
