Software (Senior) Engineer - People Tech (12 Month Contract)

We are on the lookout for a Software(Senior) Engineer - People Tech to join the People Systems team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences. 

• Build and automate end-to-end workflows connecting Workday with Slack, leveraging tools such as n8n or Make to improve operational efficiency and employee experience

• Develop AI-enabled or agent-based automations where applicable, using scripting and orchestration frameworks  (e.g. Slack, HR systems, internal services, external APIs)

• Build and experiment with AI/ML-enabled and agent-based solutions, including intelligent workflows, assistants, and task automation (e.g. using Google Agentspace or similar platforms),

• Implement API-based integrations with enterprise systems (such as Workday) to enable automation and data-driven use cases

• Support and improve existing automations and integrations, troubleshooting issues and optimizing performance

• Collaborate closely with People Tech, HR, and other internal teams to design and deliver impactful solutions

• Ensure solutions are well-documented, secure, and compliant with internal standards and relevant regulations

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, scripting, automation, or integrations

• Strong hands-on experience with Python, JavaScript, JSON, REST APIs, and webhooks

• Experience designing and building system-to-system integrations and automation workflows, Slack-based workflows or bots

Hands-on experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n, Make, or similar platforms

• Exposure to or hands-on experience with AI / ML concepts or tools (e.g. LLMs, agents, AI APIs, orchestration frameworks)

• Experience with Web Services and APIs (REST, SOAP, WSDL, WS standards)

• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work across AI-driven initiatives and enterprise integrations based on business priorities
