We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing, process improvement, and automation. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to identify issues early, prevent bugs, and maintain a high standard of product excellence. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases based on product requirements 

Identify, report, and track defects to closure in an efficient and organized manner using tools such as JIRA or similar 

Perform functional, regression, usability, performance, and system testing 

Collaborate with development and product teams to clarify requirements and drive quality 

Identify opportunities for test automation, improving overall test coverage, and reducing manual effort 

Assist in root cause analysis for issues and contribute to solutions for process improvements 

Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups as part of the Agile development methodologies 

Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and release validation processes 

Monitor software quality metrics and help drive improvements in testing processes 

Advocate for quality across the development lifecycle, from planning through deployment 

Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 

5+ years of professional software testing or quality assurance experience 

Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes 

Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques 

Solid knowledge of SQL to validate data integrity 

Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills 

Attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering quality software 

Nice to Have: 

Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and framework (e.g. Playwright, Selenium, TestNG, AI tool) 

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI 

Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) 

Familiarity with APIs and RESTful web services testing
