Job Description

Mindera is looking for Software Implementation Engineer to design, build, and support in-store devices—ranging from self-checkouts and POS systems to handheld and mobility solutions. You’ll manage the complete lifecycle of these devices, automate deployments using MECM and scripting, and ensure reliability, security, and compliance across all sites.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automated build processes using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).
• Create unattended installations for software products via scripting or MSI packages.
• Develop tools for internal technical teams—from batch files to Windows applications.
• Collaborate with support and infrastructure teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Act as a technical bridge between internal teams and external vendors.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of store platforms such as manned tills, self-checkouts, and store infrastructure.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proficiency in MECM (Current Branch) and related automation tools.
• Strong scripting skills: PowerShell, Visual Basic Script (VBS), Batch scripting.
• Experience with InstallShield for package creation.
• Strong understanding of Windows OS, command-line utilities, and SQL.
• Knowledge of Windows hardware drivers, WMI, and general computer hardware.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with C# or VB.NET for advanced scripting or tool development.
• Experience with large-scale retail or distributed infrastructure environments.
