As a Software Engineer, you’ll:

Join Weka’s Platform group and contribute to advancing the quality, reliability, and performance of Weka’s distributed data platform. You’ll design and develop scalable automated testing frameworks, validation tools, and CI/CD integrations to ensure system robustness and streamline the development lifecycle across large-scale distributed environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as part of the development team.

• Design and develop automated test frameworks and test cases for weka’s product .

• Build scalable automation solutions for stress, performance, and regression testing.

• Debug and troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems and storage protocols.

• Collaborate with developers, automation infrastructure/DevOps, and QA teams to improve test coverage and reliability.

• Drive automation initiatives and improve existing automation infrastructure.

• Take full ownership of automation code quality and maintainability.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (with excellence) in Computer Science or a related field from a top-rated academic institute.

• 3-5 years of experience in relevant positions.

• Experience working in C/C++, Go, or similar.

• Familiarity with scripting languages and Linux OS-level knowledge.

• Familiarity with Linux system programming.

• Strong analytical mindset with excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities.

• Adaptability, flexibility, and ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced startup environment.

• Team player, autodidact, excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent English.

Preferred Qualifications

• A couple of years experience in a technological unit, internship, or a junior position in an IT company.

• M.Sc, academic projects, or certifications related to storage technology.

• Familiarity with network concepts.

• Familiarity with containerized environments.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and frameworks.
