Seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Developer to design, develop, test, and debug Enterprise level software applications used by Design Engineers. Development may span the full application stack including both frontend and backend application development. Uses modern software development methodologies and programming languages, follows secure coding practices and software legal compliance guidelines, analyzes user stories, writes both functional and test code, automates build and deployment, and performs unit integration and end-to-end testing of applications. Completes SDL tasks with the assistance of product security engineers and provides input to technical writers to complete product documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May also interact with end users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Implementing scalable, resilient backend services using Java and Spring Boot,
• Architect and evolve distributed systems handling high traffic and complex state management
• Build tooling around system reliability, configuration validation, and service orchestration and own production readiness: monitoring, debugging, performance tuning, and incident resolution

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your degree, research and or relevant previous job and or internship experiences. 

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelors & 5+ years or Masters & 4+ years in computer science or related field with 5+ years industry experience as a backend software application developer and relevant experience in required skills section.
 

Required Skills:

• Java, Spring Boot
• Designing and consuming REST APIs, deep understanding of distributed systems concepts
• Building and optimizing large-scale applications
• Debugging and analytical skills, and ability to lead projects from planning to execution

Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems and infrastructure tooling
• Experience with cloud-native architecture is a plus

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $137,610.00-194,270.00 USD 

The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Work Model for this Role
