We are looking for a technical support specialist to provide troubleshooting assistance to our clients.

Job Description

We’ve been helping businesses grow for 36 years. It’s a journey we know well. When Radius started in 1990, we ran a successful SME fuel business in North West England. Today we are a global business services company running in 19 countries across five continents.

Our mission is to help companies of all sizes adapt to market changes and take advantage of the opportunities they bring.

We are differentiated through our ability to provide fleet and connectivity related products and services in a one-stop shop solution to SMEs, as well as tailored solutions to enterprise level businesses.

Thanks to the rapid growth of the UK Fuels network — and the exciting addition of a brand‑new motorway network partner — we’re expanding our team! We’re on the lookout for a proactive, technically minded problem solver to join us as our ‘Site Network – Technical Support’ within our Site Network department.

In this role, you’ll be right at the heart of our network operations, coordinating the technical setup of new site groups and supporting with specific network projects. Your work will help keep transactions flowing smoothly, ensuring our cards are accepted consistently across the networks in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

What you’ll be getting up to

You’ll be the key link between site owners, site partners, third‑party bureaus, internal teams and senior stakeholders across Radius. Think of yourself as the coordinator who keeps everyone aligned when new sites and site groups join our network. Effective communication is essential as you guide internal departments and external partners through setup and onboarding.

Alongside these projects, you’ll help drive improvements in card acceptance across the UK Fuels and DCI networks, as well as work through risk assessment actions for our stock‑managed locations.

A bit of travel

You’ll occasionally get out and about — visiting service stations and truck stops and attending meetings at partner offices. It’s a great chance to see our network in action.

What we’re looking for

• Someone who thrives in a friendly, supportive team
• A keen eye for accuracy and continuous improvement
• A technically curious mind with some computing or electrical hardware knowledge
• Confident Excel skills, plus good working knowledge of Outlook, Teams, Word and PowerPoint
• A full UK driving licence

If you enjoy variety, collaboration and the chance to shape how a growing network operates, this could be a great fit for you!

Your responsibilities day to day will be…

• Support Network Operations Manager with technical setup and scheduling orders of site card reading equipment
• Maintain the smooth operation of the site networks (UK/ROI).
• Triage and log tickets through partner websites and communicate with partner sites to ensure smooth operating of managed network.
• Liaise with internal teams to inform or instruct various changes to the card acceptance on the site networks.
• Liaise with network partners and operators to resolve issues, escalating where necessary.
• Organise risk assessment items for all stock managed locations and manage responses via online portal.
• Manage signage stocks, signage deliveries and requests to maintain minimum stock amount at dispatch centre.
• Understand and remove or add mitigation to reduce the chance of issues occurring again.
• Assist in 3rd party card acceptance projects for European partners.
• Help to create and improve formal processes within the team to improve the technical aspects to site technical setups.

What do we expect of you?

• Organised.
• Proactive.
• Problem solving.
• Able to work to deadlines.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good level of excel knowledge.
• Able to work on physical tasks.
