Description
The Service Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving growth within Windsor and surrounding area territory by retaining existing customers and developing new customer relationships. This role is suited for a sales professional who understands how to navigate the sales landscape, build trust with internal and external stakeholders, and create opportunities through proactive outreach.
The successful candidate will take ownership of their territory by growing revenue, strengthening customer relationships, and identifying new opportunities across both existing and prospective clients. Industry experience in fire protection is not required. Sales capability, relationship building, and accountability is essential.
Task & Responsibilities
Manage and grow a defined territory by retaining existing customers while identifying and securing new opportunities
Build strong relationships with customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders to support long term growth
Proactively prospect new customers through outreach, referrals, and relationship development
Meet directly with customers to understand their needs and guide them through the sales process
Develop and manage a healthy pipeline of opportunities within the assigned territory
Prepare and present proposals and pricing aligned with customer needs and business objectives
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure opportunities sold are executable and profitable
Maintain and grow service agreements across company products and services
Identify opportunities within existing accounts to expand scope of work and deepen relationships
Monitor competitive activity, market conditions, and customer trends within the territory
Maintain accurate records of activities, opportunities, and forecasts using CRM tools
Travel within the Windsor and surrounding area territory for customer meetings as required
Qualifications
Proven experience in sales, business development, or territory growth roles
Demonstrated ability to prospect, open doors, and create new opportunities
Strong relationship building and communication skills with both customers and internal teams
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and navigate complex buying environments
Self starter with strong ownership mentality and accountability for results
Comfort working independently while collaborating cross functionally
Strong negotiation and commercial skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
Fire protection or life safety industry experience is considered an asset but is not required
