Position: SEO Specialist
Salary: PHP 80,000 - PHP 120,000/month
Working Hours & Conditions: Mondays to Fridays; 7:00AM to 4:00PM Philippine Time

OVERVIEW:
The SEO Specialist will lead end-to-end SEO strategy across a portfolio of diverse small-to-medium business clients. This role requires advanced SEO knowledge, cross-platform experience (WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace, etc.), and the ability to leverage AI tools for efficiencies, optimisation, and insights.
You will own strategy, implementation, analysis, mentoring, and innovation — while also participating in client-facing meetings and actively contributing feedback to strengthen internal workflow processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategy & Execution
• Develop and implement advanced SEO strategies tailored to each client’s goals.
• Perform full technical SEO audits covering crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals, site speed, and structured data.
• Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and topic cluster building.
• Execute on-page and off-page optimisation aligned with current Google best practices.
AI & Innovation
• Use AI tools for keyword clustering, content briefs, meta optimisation, and predictive performance insights.
• Apply automation to reporting, research, and analysis to improve efficiency.
• Stay ahead of SEO developments in AI and SGE (Search Generative Experience) and integrate changes into client strategy.
Cross-Platform Optimisation
• Optimise websites across major CMS platforms — WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace, and custom builds.
• Work with designers, developers, and content teams to ensure SEO best practices are embedded into new builds and updates.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
• Build and manage dashboards in GA4, GSC, Looker Studio, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
• Report monthly on organic performance, insights, wins, and strategic opportunities.
• Translate complex data into simple, actionable recommendations for clients.
Client Communication & Collaboration
• Participate in client-facing meetings to explain strategy, performance, growth initiatives, and next steps.
• Communicate clearly, professionally, and confidently with clients and internal teams.
• Build strong relationships through transparency, education, and proactive guidance.
Leadership & Process Improvement
• Mentor junior SEO specialists to improve knowledge, accuracy, and performance.
• Provide feedback and add value to internal processes, reporting structures, templates, and SEO systems.
• Identify gaps in current workflows and collaborate with leadership to refine and improve them.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 5+ years of SEO experience, ideally within an agency.
• Proven experience delivering measurable SEO results across multiple industries.
• Strong technical SEO abilities (HTML, CSS, JavaScript rendering, schema, canonicalisation).
• Deep understanding of E-E-A-T, algorithm updates, and ranking factors.
• Advanced experience with GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Looker Studio.
• Proficiency across multiple CMS platforms — WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace, Magento.
• Familiarity with AI SEO tools (ChatGPT, Surfer, Jasper, Clearscope, etc.).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence in client-facing settings.
• Highly organised, analytical, and adaptable.
PREFERRED SKILLS (nice to have):
• Experience working in a large-scale marketing agency, particularly one servicing small businesses at volume.
• Familiarity with local SEO and multi-location optimization.
• Experience with CRO, content marketing, and link-building frameworks.
• Knowledge of website migration and complex site architecture projects.
• Basic coding or front-end development understanding.
