Senior Windows System Engineer - Energy Sector - ASAP Start - Freelance / CDI

The IT Server Team is looking to reinforce its Windows Engineering division. This team manages and supports large‑scale secure IT environments across multiple entities and countries.

You will be responsible for operating, hardening, engineering, and supporting Windows‑based infrastructures and related security and management tools.

This is a full‑time role (40h/week) starting as soon as possible.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing and operating a host‑based security suite, with a strong focus on host firewall administration across multiple operating systems.
• Managing SCCM/MECM environments.
• Managing Windows Remote Desktop Services.
• Engineering, hardening, designing, and supporting Windows Server operating systems.
• Providing third‑line support for all Windows‑related domains.
• Writing, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced PowerShell scripts.

Mandatory Skills

• Senior‑level hands‑on experience with Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, SCCM/MECM, and host‑based security tools.
• Solid understanding of host‑based firewalls (not network firewalls).
• Experience supporting large enterprise environments (approx. 2000 servers / 5000 users).
• Advanced PowerShell scripting.
• Languages:• French or Dutch (one must be native‑level)
• English (professional level)
• German is a plus
