Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and optimize Linux-based systems for high availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and provide timely resolution to incidents.
• Automate system deployments, configuration, and management using scripting and orchestration tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technologies and enhance system functionalities.
• Monitor system health and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Lead initiatives focused on best practices in Linux security, performance, and reliability.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers in Linux systems administration.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Linux technologies and open-source software.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications in Linux administration are a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering with a strong focus on Linux environments.
• Extensive knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL) and kernel architecture.
• Demonstrated experience in system performance tuning, security hardening, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby for automation tasks.
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security measures.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
