Senior System Design & Integration Specialist Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior System Design & Integration Specialist to join the team in Seattle, WA; Everett, WA; Kent, WA; Renton, WA; Berkeley, MO; Hazelwood, MO or Saint Charles, MO. In this role, you will support engineering efforts, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Position Responsibilities: Lead others to identify, evaluate and document complex computing system requirements Lead activities to architect, design, build and test delivery systems and components Provide technical leadership to evaluate product usability, affordability, functionality, security and performance to assess suitability for integration into delivery system environments Provide technical support and consultation for the implementation and usage of complex delivery systems Build, configure, test and make needed updates to all applicable servers and environments Create and keep up to date knowledge documentation pertaining to software configurations, server build-out (step-by-step documentation), testing artifacts, tracking spreadsheets, and break-fix resolutions Respond to and resolve any after-hours break fix requests and be available for on-call activity 24/7/365 Perform software configuration Troubleshoot and resolve ad-hoc customer on-off desktop software installations with Business Analysts and Customers Follow all Boeing Compliance (corporate, SOx, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), Data Processing Activity Register (DPAR), etc.) rules Research and support transition to Citrix Desktop non-persistent sessions Monitor Global Service Engagement Platform (GSEP) incident queue for applicable tickets Respond to requests within Service Level Agreement (SLA) and resolve or assist in resolutions Schedule meetings with customer teams and internal team, provide agenda, meeting minutes, and action items Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree or higher 5+ years of experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering current Windows Server 2022 - 2025 and Desktop Operating Systems - Windows 11 5+ years of experience troubleshooting network and hardware issues Experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and/or support IT project plans and schedules Experience maintaining/configuring AD to include applying domain group policies Experience delivering end-user desktop/workstation support Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience with Linux Operating Systems (Oracle Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux) Experience with storage and backup technologies and best practices Experience with database technologies Experience with automation and scripting Experience with VMware hypervisors and vCenter virtual environments Experience with networking, switching, routing and Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs) Experience with agile methodology Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
