Senior Staff Engineer / Tech Lead - Java

We are looking for a dynamic, hands-on technical leader to design and deliver a variety of crypto-related products. This unique role offers the chance to lead global greenfield projects that will impact millions of users every day. As a Staff Engineer/Tech Lead, you will spend approximately 70% of your time coding while also managing a talented, high-performing team.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement crypto-related products such as crypto exchange, fiat gateway, futures, margin, lending and more.
• Lead the creation of systems that will scale 100x, driving transformative infrastructure and architecture upgrades.
• Lead and guide day-to-day development activities through hands-on involvement in architecture decisions, designs, design reviews, code reviews, and implementation.
• Set up and maintain system infrastructure.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• 9+ years of experience in the full software development lifecycle.
• 2+ years of experience in an engineering leadership/management position.
• Proven track record of leading teams to deliver high business impact and breakthrough results in fast-moving environments.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java and familiarity with the Spring framework.
• Expertise in MySQL and experience with at least one NoSQL database.
• Proficient in distributed system design and knowledge of at least one messaging middleware and its design principles.
• Strong cross-team communication skills.
