Senior Software Engineer, Network Management

NVIDIA's Network Management Group develops the core software applications that manage and monitor NVLink and InfiniBand networks. Our applications handle critical tasks such as routing configuration, access control, resource management, and network error detection and recovery. These applications power the world's most advanced supercomputers and form the backbone of infrastructure for leading AI training workloads. We seek an experienced Software Engineer eager to contribute to system design, implementation, and automatic tests. What you'll be doing: Design, develop, and optimize a user-space server application, written in C++, responsible for handling large-scale InfiniBand/NVLink networks. Collaborate with multiple teams to develop new features/improvements in our multi-functional environment. Improve and maintain automatic test systems written in Python. What we need to see: B.Sc. or equivalent experience in Computer Science. Demonstrated ability to lead and implement high-quality and sophisticated software projects in C++. 5+ years of experience Strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of algorithms, and proficiency with data structures. Have at least basic experience with Python. Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd: Knowledge of network topologies design, and routing algorithms. Background in distributed systems. Experience in performance optimizations. Excellent social and written communication skills.
