Senior Software Engineer, Developer Experience

WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT

Your tasks and responsibilities in the job include:

• Building and maintaining internal developer tools, platforms, and frameworks to improve developer productivity and consistency.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation processes to reduce lead times and find errors early
• Collaborating with developers to gather pain points and propose solutions
• Staying updated on new technologies and proposing new ideas for our platforms
• Mentoring and collaborating with IT colleagues to strengthen knowledge-sharing and team growth

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING

We are looking for a new colleague who:

• Has strong programming skills in one or more of the following: PHP, JavaScript, or Java
• Has solid experience with CI/CD systems (e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Argo), build pipelines, and automation
• Thrives in a collaborative, developer-centric environment, engaging in requirement gathering, feedback and mentoring
• Can balance working with both legacy systems and new services, making pragmatic and well-reasoned decisions
• Has great communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
• Can break down and priorities large and complex features into smaller tasks
• Takes a proactive approach to improving solutions and challenging the status quo
