Our team is seeking a skilled engineer to own key features and components of our Ecosystem Team. You will participate in all phases of software development including requirements, design, coding, unit testing, debugging and performance tuning. Day-to-day activities include:

• Designing and developing products in these areas – Spark, Splunk, Hadoop, Prometheus, and other cutting-edge technologies.
• Unit testing and Code reviews.
• Designing and implementing effective automation tests for our CI/CD pipeline.
• Instrumenting your code to collect metrics for monitoring and supportability.
• Addressing issues found in the CI pipeline or production.
• Code reviews.
• Working across backend and frontend teams, infrastructure, and domain teams.
• You are detail oriented with a focus on implementation excellence.
• You have passion for quality and excitement for solving problems.
• You have the urge to deliver phenomenal software to our customers.
• You are self-motivated and have the ability to work in an agile manner.

Requirements:
Required Skills:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in software development using Java, golang or C++.
• You have strong programming skills, are well versed in foundational aspects of CS and OOP.
• Experience with the Spring Framework.
• Excellent system design and object-oriented design skills
• Implementing REST API's and their integrations into frontend and other services
• Understanding of networking and distributed system design.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Strong, concise communication skills to articulate thought process.
• Validated ability to deliver on schedule.
• BS or MS in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing in Spark, Hadoop environments.
• Golang experience.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker or other infrastructure software.
• Experience deploying a global service in AWS or Azure.
• Experience working on live enterprise-grade scale services.
• Understanding of deployment issues in a complex environment (security, networking, load balancers, service dependencies, disaster recovery, etc.)
• Security and compliance consciousness.
