We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with proven expertise in Cassandra, Elasticsearch, and automation to join one of our critical engineering teams. This role requires a hands-on technical expert who can ensure system reliability, scalability, and operational excellence across complex distributed environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and optimize high-availability, large-scale Cassandra and Elasticsearch clusters in production.
• Automate infrastructure tasks, CI/CD pipelines, and operational workflows to reduce manual intervention and increase system resilience.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement SRE best practices around monitoring, observability, and incident response.
• Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and implement preventive measures across the stack.
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cassandra and Elasticsearch in production-grade environments.
• Proficiency in automation scripting using tools like Python, Bash, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and modern deployment frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Comfortable working in English-speaking environments (B2 level or higher).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience implementing observability (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Knowledge of distributed systems design and resiliency patterns.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills in complex cloud-native environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
