The Senior Security Engineer – Cloud & Infrastructure is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security controls across cloud infrastructure, applications, and CI/CD pipelines. This role emphasizes automation, proactive threat prevention, and compliance, while owning end-to-end cloud security initiatives.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage security controls for AWS cloud infrastructure, networking, and IAM.
• Secure containerized environments including Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Implement and manage AWS-native security services and tooling.
• Ensure security best practices for Node.js and Go applications across development and production environments.
• Monitor security events, investigate incidents, and perform regular security audits and assessments.
• Support regulatory and compliance requirements and proactively manage security risks.
• Build and maintain security automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting.
• Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–12 years of experience in cloud and infrastructure security, with strong AWS expertise.
• Hands-on experience with AWS security services and cloud-native security controls.
• Proven experience securing applications built using Node.js and Go.
• Strong understanding of Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Solid knowledge of network security, IAM, and compliance frameworks.

Nice to Have

• Cloud or security certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, or CCSP.
• Experience with serverless security, SOAR platforms, or advanced threat detection solutions.
