Our client, a growing company in the Central Valley, is seeking a Regional Business Growth Manager to help secure new business and strengthen relationships across the area. This role is suited to someone who enjoys being out in the market, engaging directly with decision-makers, and contributing to the continued growth of the company’s local footprint.
The successful candidate will be confident developing opportunities from the ground up, managing prospects through the sales process, and working closely with internal teams to support a seamless handover from signed business to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the full sales process from first contact through to close
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities throughout the Central Valley area
• Work closely with operations and internal teams to support onboarding and service delivery
• Maintain an accurate and active pipeline through CRM tools
• Prepare proposals, pricing, and relevant supporting documentation for client opportunities
• Support growth within existing accounts where additional opportunities are identified
• Provide regular updates on sales activity, pipeline progress, and performance
Requirements:
Essential
• Experience working in a B2B environment
• 3 to 7 years of experience in business development, outside sales, or a similar role
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build lasting business relationships
• Proven ability to generate leads, develop pipeline, and close new business
• Ability to travel locally across the Central Valley
• Comfortable handling multiple opportunities at various stages of the sales cycle
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and reporting processes
Preferred
• Existing connections within the Central Valley business community
• Experience in service-based, industrial, or operational environments
• Background working with cross-functional teams
• Experience supporting proposal development, pricing, or contract discussions
Benefits:
• Base Salary: $100,000 – $130,000
