The Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced QA Lead to develop the software test automation framework for testing the above software product from scratch with use of automation tools like selenium/cucumber/testing etc.

Responsibilities:

• 7-10 years of Manual Testing experience in Functional, Regression, System, Integration and UAT testing, automation testing

• Developing Frameworks from scratch

• Testing concepts and in dept knowledge of Testing and Agile

• Jira knowledge is a must

• candidate should be aware of Selenium Web driver and TestNG

• Should be able to work as backup lead

• will be plus - API Automation - Rest Assured and Karate

• will be plus APPIUM Automation

• E-commerce domain experience will be a huge bonus and will make you stand out in the crowd.

• Experience in Web Based Application testing. (Front End & Back End)

• Should be operational as an individual contributor as well in test case preparation, test data setup and test execution.

• Excellent communication skills required (Verbal & Written) with Onshore & Offshore stakeholders

• 3-4 years of Agile experience required. Experience with Scrum, Sprint, Backlog Planning

• Should have hands-on experience in Team Management, Mentoring juniors, Daily Status Reporting, Client, BA, Dev Co-ordination.

• Experience in Effort Estimation, Capacity Planning, Defect Management, Resource allocation.

• Should be able to handle small – mid size team independently as a Test Lead including activities such as Test Planning, Test Execution, Defect Management, Status Reporting, Effort Estimation, Test Reports

• Experience in dealing with end clients, coordinating with Business Analyst at various stages of QA life cycle

• Thorough understanding and solid hands-on experience in all types of functional testing.

• Experience with mobile app testing is preferred but not mandatory

• Should be able to identify roadblocks, showstoppers and proactively act upon mitigation plan

• Thorough understanding of SDLC & STLC

• Multi-tasking capabilities and leadership qualities required.

• Immediate joiner preferred.

• Quick learner and proactive approach needed

• Should be able to foresee issues/roadblocks that could possibly delay deliverables and proactively escalate to QA Manager

• API Testing, Database testing and Automation Testing experience using selenium will be an added advantage

• Automation experience with Selenium + Test NG / Cucumber is must have

Required Skills:

• Immediate Joiners preferred – Notice Period : Immediate joiner or 30 days Max

• 7-9 years of Manual Testing experience in Functional, Regression, System, Integration and UAT testing.

• 3-4 years of Team Leading, Team Management, Lead level activities

• 7-9 years of hands-on experience in all types of Black Box testing (Smoke, Sanity, System, Integration, Regression, UAT)

• Any Testing related certification will be an added advantage

• 1-3 years of E commerce domain knowledge

• API Testing, Database testing will be an added advantage

Bonus Points For

• Experience with JavaScript is a plus

• Experience with Jmeter / Load runner is a plus

• E commerce domain experience is a plus
