Senior & Lead Fullstack Engineers (React / Node.js / MERN)

Employment: Full-time via MLabs
Engagement: Contracted to a UAE-based enterprise client
Location: Remote (Eastern Europe / MENA / India preferred)

MLabs is hiring Senior and Lead Fullstack Engineers to support a large-scale financial technology program for a UAE-based enterprise client.

This role combines modern frontend development with scalable backend services. You will work across the stack, building secure web applications using React and Node.js within a distributed, enterprise-grade environment. Lead-level candidates will contribute to architectural decisions across both frontend and backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain fullstack applications using React and Node.js
• Design scalable RESTful APIs and backend services
• Build secure, performant frontend interfaces
• Integrate applications with databases and enterprise systems
• Optimize system performance across the stack
• Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews
• Lead Engineers: provide cross-stack technical leadership and mentor teams

Requirements:
• 5+ years (Senior) / 8+ years (Lead) fullstack development experience
• Strong proficiency in React and Node.js
• Experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node)
• Experience designing REST APIs and microservices
• Solid understanding of database design and data modeling
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments

Preferred

• Experience in fintech or regulated environments
• Experience working with distributed systems
• Familiarity with blockchain or Web3 integrations
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering initiatives
