About the Project
The client is looking for a CMDB & ITIL Process Documentation Specialist to join their IT Service Management (ITSM) team.
This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, structure, and governance of IT processes and configuration data within the organization.
The consultant will focus on two main pillars:
1. CMDB Management
•Maintaining and improving the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
•Ensuring all Configuration Items (CIs) are correctly registered and managed
•Performing data audits and reconciliation to ensure consistency and accuracy
•Collaborating with various IT teams to ensure proper integration of CMDB data
2. ITIL Process Documentation
•Documenting and improving ITIL processes such as:
o Incident Management
o Problem Management
o Change Management
o Release Management
o Configuration Management
•Creating clear process documentation, workflows, and SOPs
•Developing training materials and user guides
•Acting as a subject matter expert for ITIL processes
Additionally, the consultant will contribute to process improvement initiatives, monitor performance metrics, and provide training and support to internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
The client is looking for a Senior ITSM Specialist with strong expertise in CMDB and ITIL frameworks.
Core requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Service Management
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• CMDB management
• ITIL processes and documentation
• ITIL Foundation certification (mandatory)
• Experience with ITSM tools and CMDB platforms
• Strong skills in technical documentation and process design
• Ability to analyse processes and identify improvements
Soft skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as a subject matter expert
Languages
French & English fluency is needed
