As Senior IT Operations Specialist, you ensure that the digital backbone of our company runs reliably and scales with our growth.

As Senior IT Operations Specialist, you are responsible for the stability, performance and security of Blackwave’s IT infrastructure.
You enable teams across engineering, manufacturing and operations to work efficiently by ensuring robust systems, reliable networks and scalable IT services.

• Maintain and improve the IT infrastructure across the organization
• Ensure high system availability, performance and security

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly to minimize downtime

• Support employees across engineering, manufacturing and operations with IT systems and tools
• Work closely with internal teams to understand technical requirements and operational needs
• Coordinate with external providers when necessary

Location & Work Setup
This role requires strong on-site collaboration with teams and systems.
• Primary work location: Blackwave sites in Munich
• Flexible presence across Taufkirchen and Garching-Hochbrück
• Regular on-site presence required to support engineering and manufacturing teams

YOUR PROFILE:
You are an experienced IT operations professional who enjoys ensuring that complex technical environments run smoothly, securely and reliably.
You likely bring:
• Several years of experience in IT operations or IT infrastructure management
• Strong knowledge of networking, system administration and IT security
• Experience managing IT environments in growing organizations
• A hands-on and solution-oriented mindset
• Strong communication skills when working with technical and non-technical teams

Nice to have:
• Experience with cloud infrastructure
• Experience in high-tech, manufacturing or engineering environments
• Experience with automation or infrastructure management tools
