Our Rewarded Solutions team develops the technology behind adjoe's innovative rewarded engagement products that serve over 57 million daily mobile users.

The team’s tech stack consists of three major components: native Android and iOS SDKs written in Java/Kotlin and Swift handling complex engagement flows; widely customizable offerwall applications built with React TypeScript; and a highly performant Golang backend hosted on AWS that processes millions of events hourly. Our system matches each game with its ideal users, delivering rewards optimized for satisfaction through data processed via AWS Athena, Kafka, Spark, S3, and MySQL.

For team members, this means having state-of-the-art resources to build engaging rewarded ad experiences that seamlessly integrate into the world’s top apps while delivering exceptional results for advertisers and monetizers in this industry-leading technology.

What You Will Do::
• Contribute to the development of our backend written +99% in Go and maintain our microservice architecture used to communicate with our frontend (based on TypeScript React). To do this, you’ll use event buses like Kafka, SQS/SNS, and Kinesis in order to have reliable asynchronous microservice communication.
• Work in a community of developers with whom you’ll share knowledge and contribute to peer code reviews.
• Continuously search for ways to decrease the API response time for complex queries – we work with a few hundred terabytes of data.
• Support partners by providing them with raw or aggregated data based on their business needs – we believe in data transparency and well-documented open APIs.
• Collaborate with our Data Science team to solve complex math problems used to optimize our ML algorithms that are dedicated to delivering the right ads to the right users and integrate their solutions into adjoe’s application.
• Be responsible for collecting the billions of daily API events and aggregating them in our Kafka and Kinesis streams with the goal of querying them from the data lake in a matter of seconds.

Who You Are::
• You have gained 2+ years of experience with Golang in a production environment, preferrably in distrybuted systems.
• You are a technology nerd and are able to get involved in new, complex topics quickly
• Knowledge about databases and a basic understanding of Regular Expressions, HTTP protocol and Encoding
• Experience working with infrastructure as code (Terraform), Docker and serverless infrastructure is a plus
