About the Role

As a Senior II Full Stack Engineer at CoverGo, you will serve as a technical authority and hands-on architect for our enterprise insurance platform. This role goes beyond feature delivery, you will shape technical direction, system architecture, and best practices across the product. You will lead the design and evolution of highly scalable, secure SaaS solutions, and drive complex technical initiatives from concept to production.

What You Will Do

• Own and drive end-to-end architectural decisions for major systems and cross-domain initiatives, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Design and evolve complex distributed systems, APIs, and data models that support enterprise-scale insurance workflows.
• Identify and proactively address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and scalability risks.
• Lead the design and implementation of advanced front-end and back-end solutions using Node.js, TypeScript, Vue.js/React, GraphQL, MongoDB, and related technologies.
• Build and maintain high-performance, secure APIs and services, ensuring reliability under high load.
• Drive consistent use of clean architecture, SOLID principles, and design patterns across the codebase.
• Champion testability and maintainability, ensuring systems are easy to evolve over time.
• Enforce high code quality standards through thorough code reviews, architectural reviews, and testing strategies.
• Drive Test-Driven Development (TDD) and ensure strong coverage across unit, integration, and functional tests.
• Lead security-by-design initiatives, applying deep knowledge of web security best practices.
• Ensure systems comply with industry regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA.
• Partner closely with Product, Design, and Business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Communicate complex technical decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What We Need

• 7-10+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with sustained ownership of complex, large-scale SaaS systems.
• Expert-level proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript, with deep experience building scalable back-end systems.
• Strong front-end expertise using Vue.js and/or React, with a focus on performance, usability, and maintainability.
• Advanced experience with GraphQL, MongoDB, and modern API design.
• Strong hands-on experience with NestJS (highly preferred), including modular architecture and dependency injection.
• Mastery of TDD and automated testing strategies, with strong experience in unit, integration, and functional testing.
• Deep understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and advanced design patterns, applied pragmatically.
• Strong background in web security, data protection, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA).
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex, high-impact production issues.
• Strong technical judgment with the ability to make trade-offs between speed, quality, and long-term maintainability.
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to challenge ideas constructively.
• Proven ability to influence technical direction without relying on authority alone.
• A genuine passion for continuous learning and raising the technical bar of the team.
