We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help support and optimize cloud and Kubernetes environments for an innovative video surveillance software platform.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of critical deployment pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring systems, ensuring that applications run securely, efficiently, and at scale for all users.

Requirements:
🎯 What You’ll Do (Your Superpowers)

• Automate the installation, deployment, and configuration of software across AWS and Kubernetes (k3s) environments
• Build and maintain scripts and tools to optimize infrastructure, testing, and deployment workflows
• Continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for reliability, scalability, and speed
• Implement and enforce best practices for security, monitoring, and infrastructure management
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD practices and support smooth software releases
• Manage cloud resources, including EC2, RDS, S3, AutoScaling, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation
• Maintain containerized environments with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm Charts
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure, networks, and deployment pipelines to ensure uptime and performance
• Contribute to documentation and change management processes to keep infrastructure knowledge up-to-date
• Recommend and implement improvements to processes, tooling, and system automation

⭐ What We’re Looking For (Our Wishlist)

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or systems engineering
• Strong experience with configuration management systems (Ansible, Chef) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform)
• Solid Linux system administration experience
• Expertise with Git administration and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm Charts
• Familiarity with AWS services: EC2, RDS, S3, AutoScaling, CloudWatch, CloudFormation
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python
• Understanding of network technologies and protocols (IP, TCP, UDP, TLS)
• Experience with VMWare vSphere and Semaphore UI is a plus
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Prometheus, ELK, Zabbix) is an asset
• Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or an equivalent Kubernetes certification is required.

• Base Salary: $130,000 - $150,000
