About The Team

The DevOps group is structured in a flat structure of 15 engineers, designating each DevOps engineer to a specific group of RND.

Each DevOps engineer is the DevOps leader for that group. They serve as the point of contact for any project, taking part in the system designs and implementing any needed change.

Each DevOps engineer is also responsible for a “DevOps project” - an infrastructure project aimed to bring upon new capabilities and improvements to our system.

The DevOps group works as a team. They sit together, interact with each other and support each other on a daily basis.

The group is working together daily to bring Fireblocks' infrastructure to be on the frontline of the industry's standards.

What You'll Do

Support multi-region environments & provide support to worldwide-based teams.

Build and maintain tools for automation, deployment, monitoring, and operations.

Everything as a code approach: Run our infrastructure with Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes.

Solve diverse complex problems of high scale.

Work with other R&D teams on mutual projects.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our various environments.

Conduct periodic on-call duties and emergency response

What You'll Bring

• 7+ years of overall experience, including 5+ in DevOps and 4+ in managing SaaS production environments.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, teamwork, and excellent communication abilities.

• Hands-on experience with:

• Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS (3+ years, must), Kubernetes (3+ years; EKS advantage), Terraform (2+ years; Terragrunt advantage).

• Automation & CI/CD: GitLab / GitHub Actions / CircleCI (3+ years), ArgoCD (GitOps), and configuration management tools (Ansible / Chef / Puppet).

• Monitoring & Operations: Linux administration and scripting (Python / TypeScript / Bash), and observability tools (Datadog / Coralogix / Grafana).

Advantages:

• Familiarity with database technologies (MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or relevant technical certification.
