WHAT YOU WILL DO
Infrastructure - Windows VMs, Linux VMs, Azure PaaS services, SQL MI provisioning and
setup application Deployments - Azure DevOps YAML build pipelines and classic release
pipelines, PowerShell and bash scripts, Docker containers, Database Deployments –
DA CPAC, SCM – BitBucket.
Application Types - Web APIs, Web Forms, Windows Services, Task Scheduler Jobs, SQL
Server Agent jobs .
Networking - Knowledge of networking, VPNs, network security - Implementing secure
network configurations, managing firewall rules, setting up virtual private networks
(VPNs), troubleshooting network issues(understanding networking protocols, diagnosing
co nnectivity issues).
Optimize and improve existing builds/deployments.
Deploy applications/databases to different environments.
Set up/configure infrastructure on Azure.
Help with debugging post - deployment issues.
Managing access to Bitbucket , Sentry, VMs and Azure resources and horizontal; setting
up primary and secondary DB and syncing process; setup of read - only secondary DB.
Troubleshooting of Azure infrastructure, setting up application logging, helping the Dev
team in providing logs and troubleshooting
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
7+ years of experience in automating application deployments to the cloud
Strong experience in the deployment and setup of .NET, MS - SQL and Python based
applications .
Strong experience in networking & cloud security.
Ability to quickly learn and implement new tools/technologies.
Ability to excel within an "Agile" environment.
Infrastructure automation is a plus.
Knowledge of CI/CD is needed preferably with Azure DEvops is needed.
Development/Test Stack - VueJS, .NET Framework, .NET Core, Python, MongoDB
Working experience in ARM, Terraform for infrastructure automation.
Good experience in scripting – Python , PowerShell for Windows , bash for Linux .
Knowledge of web infrastructure and how it works is essential , for example - routing &
load balancing.
